About Prior Bros & Co. Ltd

Established in 1968 by Thomas Prior, the family run business was initially located on the same site from which it currently operates today. In 1968 Thomas was the sole employee of the business, and was joined by his brother 8 years later. Since this time the company has developed and expanded and now employ a dedicated staff of 15.

In March 2004, Prior Brother’s bought the well known ‘Pot Ready’ business in Lisnakea. This enabled the company to diversify their product range and they began to offer fresh potatoes and chips under the familiar Pot Ready brand.

To accommodate their success, Prior Brothers extended their premises in 2004, creating additional storage space and adding new state of the art refrigeration equipment. Despite their continued success and expansion, Prior Brothers continue to hold the same values initially introduced by Thomas Prior in 1968; and pride themselves on delivering quality, freshness and convenience to their customers every time.
